A survey has found that there are more than 57 million blogs on the Internet, with 100,000 new web logs created each day.
Research by blog monitoring firm Technorati shows that the popularity of blogging continues to be strong, with 1.3 million postings each day.

55% of the blogs recorded were active, meaning that they have been updated at least once in the last 3 months.
Many blogs are spamblogs, or splogs, which are fake pages created by spammers, although Technorati has taken steps to try to eliminate them from its figures.

Check hard disk space
