Vista Claimed As Most Secure Operating System

Wednesday 31 January 2007

The newly-launched Windows Vista has been claimed to be the most secure operating system yet.

In an interview with the BBC, former CEO of Microsoft Bill Gates said Windows Vista is the safest operating system yet.

He also said the improved security in Vista, which should help reduce the threat of phishing and malware, was a good enough reason by itself for users to upgrade from Windows XP.

Vista also has many new features including a stylish new interface named 'Aero', improved photo management and search facilities, parental controls, sidebar 'gadgets' and media capabilities.

Microsoft predicts that within 12 months, more than 100 million computers will be running Vista.
