Free Online Photoshop Planned

Adobe is planning to make a free online version of its popular Photoshop software.

Adobe told CNET News.com of its plan to launch a web-based Photoshop image-editing application within the next six months.

Advertisements

The tool, which aims to mimic the success of Google's online applications, will be free and funded by advertising.

The Photoshop online tool will offer users an entry-level version of Adobe's professional image-editing packages like Photoshop and Photoshop Elements.
