Updates For iTunes And QuickTime

Apple has released new updates for its iTunes and QuickTime software, including fixes for bugs and security issues.

iTunes allows users to organize music and video and download to iPod. QuickTime is used to play back audio and video from the Web.

iTunes 7.1 includes support for the upcoming Apple TV service which allows users to watch iTunes movies, TV shows, music, and more "from the comfort of your living room".

QuickTime 7.1.5 includes fixes for several security vulnerabilities which could allow hackers to run malicious code on a user's PC.

The new versions can be downloaded from the Apple web site.
