Wiki Enters Oxford English Dictionary

The word 'wiki', which describes a web page that can be edited by visitors, is one of a number of new words added to the Oxford English Dictionary.
A 'wiki' is a page that can be quickly and easily added to by its users, such as writing comments on articles. The word originates from the Hawaiian "wiki wiki," meaning "quick".

Among the other new words added to the Dictionary for March 2007 is 'virtualize', associated with creating or converting something using a computer program.
