Yahoo! Mail To Offer Unlimited Storage

Thursday 29 March 2007

Yahoo! has announced that from May 2007 it will begin offering users unlimited storage space for their e-mails.

Yahoo! Mail made the announcement to celebrate its 10th anniversary. Back when the service was launched in 1997, users only had 4 MB of storage space which today would be used up by just one or two picture files.

Other e-mail providers such as Google's GMail service have for a while now offered 1 GB or more of storage space, but Yahoo! Mail will soon be giving its users unlimited space in which to store their messages and files.
