Friday 21 March 2008

Service Pack 1 (SP1) for Windows Vista is now available, bringing fixes and improvements to Microsoft's operating system.

Vista SP1 includes updates for Windows that address security and compatibility problems, as well as improvements to reliability and performance.

Users of Windows Vista can download SP1 through Windows Update now (click on Start button and then select Windows Update from the Programs list).

There is also a standalone version of SP1 available to download, which is a much larger download containing various updates and language packs and is not recommended for most home users.
