Internet Explorer Security Warning
Wednesday 17 December 2008
A serious security flaw in Internet Explorer has been discovered.
The vulnerability could potentially allow malicious code from an infected website to be downloaded to a user's PC.
The problem was serious enough for Microsoft to advise users to switch to another web browser temporarily until a fix was available to correct the issue.
Microsoft has now released a patch to fix the problem which can be obtained from www.windowsupdate.com or by enabling Automatic Updates. Vista users can click the Start button, click All Programs, and then select Windows Update.
