Internet Explorer 8 Released

The new version 8 of Microsoft's web browser Internet Explorer is now available to download.
Internet Explorer 8 has a number of new features to improve the browsing experience and security.
The new SmartScreen filter and other security features help users stay safe online.
For websites that were designed for older browsers and do not display correctly, there is a new Compatibility View button.
Microsoft will eventually make the new version of Internet Explorer available through the automatic Windows Updates system, but it can be downloaded now from the Microsoft web site:

Check hard disk space
Double click on the My Computer icon on your Desktop and right-click on your hard disk (usually drive C). Click Properties to see the amount of disk space left on your computer.
