AVG Anti-Virus - right-click taskbar icon and Check For Updates

Spybot - click Search for Update
ZoneAlarm - on the Preferences tab click Check For Update
It is also important to keep your web browser updated:
Firefox - click on Help then Check for Updates
Internet Explorer - go to Windows Update
Also make sure you have the latest Windows security fixes, by visiting the Windows Update web site.
