Firefox 2 tab problem
Hi there
I've just been using the new Firefox 2 browser and I Hate what they've done with the Tabs now.. there is a Close button stuck on each tab which is way too easy to click by mistake as you move between tabs.. I keep closing my tabs when I don't mean to.. Very annoying!! The old way was much better, I just right-clicked a tab when I wanted to close it.
And I used to like the way when I had lots of tabs open they would get smaller to fit but now it doesn't, you have to scroll along so sometimes I forget I have other tabs open..
Is there anyway to get the old style tabs back as these are driving me up the wall..
Thanks :)

I don't like the new tabs system either, but I found a way to put it back to how it was in older Firefox versions.
Open up a new window or tab and in the address bar type about:config and press Enter. You then get access to Firefox's settings.
Find browser.tabs.closeButtons and right-click on the line, select "Modify" and enter the number 3 then click OK. This get rids of the Close button on each tab.
Find browser.tabs.tabMinWidth and set it to 10. This makes the tabs shrink when you have lots of tabs, rather than having to scroll along.
Hope this helps :)
