UNKNOWN IDENTITY on my Outlook Express version 6

:( Hi there: All of a sudden I have this unknown identity as my primary user on my Outlook Express.

I've gone into manage identities to try and remove whoever this is, and the remove button is not highlighted so I can't use it.
Nobody else uses this computer so I'm wondering how the hell he got on mine and what can I do to remove him/her?
Thanks in advance for any assistance with this dilemma.
I have to go to work in about an hour, but I'll check back this evening when I get home for hopefully a response/solution...

Hi, I don't use Outlook Express myself but I found this article on the Microsoft website which might help - it tells you about managing Identities and selecting the Default Identity to use:
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/209169/

'unknown identity' sounds to me like something that maybe the program itself has created, rather than some other person creating it. Maybe Outlook Express has reverted to its default settings for some reason? Is your own Identity still there anywhere or has it been replaced by this 'unknown' one?

I'll check out that site asap. And yes I still have my identity listed and could remove it but not this unknown one. Maybe the site will help me.
Thanks again:
